Linkedin is probably one of the most underutilized sources of traffic right now. If you're not on Linkedin you're missing out.
I started a new personal finance group and I wanted to invite everyone from Yakezie! It'll be a place to share your pillar articles and drive some traffic to those articles as well.
Here is the link to the group- http://www.linkedin.com/groups…..g_ugrp_ovr
I'm looking forward to getting Yakezie members involved on Linkedin! Hit me up if you have any questions.

No problem Miss T! Also, check out Lewis Howes if you have time. He's a great resource for taking full advantage of Linkedin.

You actually get traffic from linked in? I am on there and have been connecting with a lot of PF bloggers lately, but I haven't put much effort into using the site.

I'm on Linkedin but I use it mostly for my personal resume. I add connections if they have a face. (Sorry for those bloggers who are anonymous) I just try to keep my blog life and professional life separate as crazy as that sounds.

I joined the group. Let's build it up and get behind Linkedin. It's a phenomenal resource as it provides exposure to a very different audience to Facebook and Twitter.

Amen to that Hunter! I'm hoping to get the entire Yakezie involved, it really is some great exposure for young bloggers.

Yah, it's been pretty cool. Ever since I started, I'll get 50 visits from a posting in a single group. Multiply that by a bunch of groups and you can start to see the huge benefit. Good stuff huh?

To each their own. My thought is that potential employers would actually be interested in the side business I run. But that's totally cool to keep them separate, to each their own :)

Yeah, I did too but I guess I'm still scared that I will get asked to stop blogging. Then I don't want them to think I'm not focused at work. Really just fear talking. But that's great that you see traffic from it.

Here's a question:
Can people create Linkedin profiles for their blogs? There are company profiles on Linkedin, why not blogs? Not sure what their position on this would be, though. Has anyone tried this?
Personally, I'd rather keep professional life and blogging separate – but maybe there's a way to keep that separation while still using Linkedin.

I agree with Squirrelers on this. I need things separated.

Awesome guys! Feel free to post your pillar articles in that group. Once we get some momentum going with new members, it will drive some sweet traffic to everyone's blogs!
