I know most of the Plutus Awards Finalists have campaigned on their own sites and the Yakezie forums. These options can become depleted quickly; you don't want to ask too often or risk offending potential voters.
Don't forget your local media. Local TV and Newspapers are always searchng for good-news stories like these: "LOCAL BLOGGER NOMINATED FOR NATIONAL AWARD", "LOCAL BLOGGER TO REPRESENT (YOUR LOCATION HERE) AT NATIONAL AWARD CEREMONY".
Work-up a press release and leverage your local media for some home-grown publicity. The results might surprise you, and could be enough to win you an award…leading to more publicity.
Publicity is FREE advertising. Go for it.

I never would have thought of anything like that! I'm going to give that a try (if I can make time for it).

When do nominations end?
Pretty good idea, but we're semi-anonymous as well …

Great idea but I too am anonymous and would like to stay that way. Plus newspapers here seem to charge for everything.

If nothing else, use the Plutus Award nomination to score you some free links and (maybe) publicity with a free PR tool like http://www.prlog.org/

That's not a bad idea – but I'm semi-anon as well. I'll have to see how I can work that.

@SPF – Voting is open through the 21st
@JT – That's a pretty cool service. Thanks for making me aware.
So many anon / semi-anon bloggers!

That's a great idea. I need to say anonymous as well however due to my opinonated views on education that might get my career into hot water.
