I am running a giveaway on my blog on Jan. 18th 2013 and because I want to promote other Yakezie members while promoting my site at the same time I wanted to offer a chance to get in on the action.
First let me say I'm asking NOTHING in return. This is just one way I can give back to the community. Second, let me tell you about my first contest. I welcome any feedback.
When: Jan 8th – Jan 25th with winner being announced and awarded on the 26th.
Prize: $25 Amazon Gift Card (next month I plan on giving away several books if this contest goes well).
Entry: I'm using Rafflecopter so people can enter by liking Facebook Pages and following Twitter Accounts. I am also requiring people to respond to the question: "What Age do you Plan on Retiring?" I want my readers to be thinking about their future, and I want the contest to actually provide some content and activity to my site, and not just a short burst of traffic.
Goal: 1000 entries (which should be reachable since each person will be able to enter the contest ~15 times).
Promotion: I am going to follow the guide at: http://www.squidoo.com/list-yo…..r-giveaway and hopefully people will Tweet about the contest to get another entry.

If you would like to include liking your Face or following your Twitter in the contest please let me know here. No promises on how many likes or followers you will get as a result, but since it is free, and all you have to do is let me know you are interested, you have nothing to lose. I may be willing to accept a few challengers depending on your site. It would also be cool if I could get a mention or if you entered the contest yourself, but it isn't required and my real goal is to give as much as I can to Yakezie community.
