Absolutely. I saw a site on flippa that I loved. I wanted to buy it but it sold for 11k. Way out of my budget. And it was only around for 5 months with a pr 4.

I then took that idea and found a niche similar to it and did an even better site.

The site has grown nicely in 100 plus days.

I won't consider selling it until there is a pr update but I got this site up and running in less than a week.

Today there are 19 articles and growing and just last week I had 66 organic searches. Needless to say I am very pleased with the growth.  

Wow! That's awesome! Is there a site you used in order to learn how to build websites like this?

Actually I have been doing this for some time now and I have narrowed down how I go about doing it. There are tons of ways and for me this is the one working the most. However, I continue to grow and learn as do many others. I find getting ideas from Flippa is helpful but you have to feed out the garbage… and there is a lot.
