I've been a bad blogger, bad Yakezie member, and generally bad at maintaining any of my internet relationships for the past few months. I'm fighting severe hyperemesis (vomiting) as a result of morning sickness that just won't end, and the anti-nausea medication that lets me throw up just 3-5 times a day, instead of 10-15 as my body would prefer, makes me foggy and even more tired. My brain is barely in it enough for me to keep up with my schoolwork and write a few simple posts. I don't have enough leftover to be a good friend to my real life friends, let alone my Yakezie crew.
I wanted to apologize for my lack of involvement and for not commenting and promoting at your sites. I promise to be back to promoting the heck out of you guys, and will be a regular forum stalker again, as soon as I can get my brain out of the fog.
If you guys have suggestions for plowing through mental fog and exhaustion, I'd love to hear them!

Take care of you first Penny. Anyone who has gotten to know you in this network knows you are a fantastic, caring and involved individual who cares for many other people deeply. You ran the original "summer pals" campaign with a number of us and i'm positive you can count on any of us if/when you need us.
Feel free to drop me an email if you ever want/need to chat or take a load off.

Im still recovering from the past 6 weeks of finding out that I have Crohns disease and then a severely ruptured appendix just a couple weeks after that, both independent of each other. I definitely feel for you, and Im very sorry to hear about your health.
Quite honestly there is no way to truly push through and keep up with all your duties, just worry as little as possible and take care of your health first. I found myself stressing about my blog and my actual career as I had to take a few weeks off, but worrying does nothing to get you better.
Try and relax and focus on you for now. If you need any help/support/articles shoot me an email… justinweinger@aol.com

Have you tried fresh ginger in water (you probably have)….I feel for you. My morning sickness was the worst with my first, and I had very little of it with pregnancy 2 & 3.

How awful! How are you getting enough nutrition (let alone blogging)?
Good luck with everything. If you need guest posts, send a request on the forums.
MoneyistheRoot: I am so sorry for the diagnosis and I hope you are feeling better from where you were.

No need to apologize. We all know that you are pregnant and bound to not have your usual health and energy. Take care of yourself first- the blog and us can wait. We want that pea in a pod to be as healthy as can be. Just get better and let us know if you need anything.
Also, sorry Justin about your new diagnosis. That has to be hard. You too, take care of yourself and let us know if you need anything.

No need to apologize Penny. You are never a bad blogger/Yakezie member. All of us are bound to need a break and pregnancy is an excellent reason to need a break :) And we all know you are pregnant, that is the whole point of establishing relationship. So no worries, we will be here to welcome your new bundle of joy and you can pick up where you left off. Take care of yourself and the pea in a pod. Let me know if I can be of any help.
Justin, the offer goes to you too… Take care and get better soon. If there is anything I could do, you know my email address…

Thanks for the well wishes and understanding! This is my third (and final!!) kid and worst morning sickness. It was bad with my first and not as awful with my second, but this time is the worst and my body just doesn't want to keep down solids at all. I'm taking prenatal vitamins shortly after the anti-nausea medicine so it usually stays down, but otherwise this baby is growing on Saltines, Gatorade, my husband's homemade (strong) ginger ale, and the occasional smoothie or bowl of soup that sticks. I'm 14 weeks now and hopeful that it will dissipate soon, but I had morning sickness for 7 months with my son! I'm fortunate that my husband has been so helpful and has been taking our 5 year old to work with him, leaving me with the 3 year old, who naps during the day still! :)
I'm trying to maintain 2-3 posts a week, but would welcome guest posts that come my way.
Justin, it sounds like you've had a tough month. Take care, and good luck finding effective treatment for Crohn's! That would be enough without the appendicitis – double whammy.

Feel better! I can understand your issues with maintaining internet relationships. While I haven't been sick (touch wood!) I was caring for a relative who was diagnosed with cancer and died two months later. Needless to say, I have been MIA a lot this summer. My advice is just what I did… try to stay in contact when you can, be honest about your MIA periods, and don't let it stress you out too much.

Yikes, I hope you don't get too down about all this… It's bitter sweet I guess knowing the reason why your body isn't exactly tip top.
Keep your chin up and get back when you feel better.

Hey Justin, it's been almost 4 years since I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease. It can definitely be life-changing, but you can also go years without any "flair ups"!
You are right about worrying – it never helps anything.

Thanks for sharing Khaleef! I hope your Crohns has been on the tame side. We are still trying to figure out how to treat mine because the doctors don't know what was the primary cause of my pain, inflammed (and then ruptured) appendix, or the Crohns…it's even hard now since i still have post-surgery pain too.
