Hey everyone,

I've been working on a massive roundup post for longer than I want to admit.  Initially, it was for another site that I was helping develop, but that project fell through.

Here's what I'm doing:  a massive roundup of the "Top Family Finance Posts on The Web"

That's a very range topic and that's the point.  Basically, anything that applies to family finance applies.   Here's some of the basic categories that I'm looking at:

  • Frugal Family Tips
  • Savings For College
  • Tax Stuff
  • Major Purchases
  • Investing
  • Budgeting

Here's exactly what I need…

Submit the post here or email me with your post in HTML format.  Please note the HTML format part.  I have over 100+ articles I'm including and don't want to mess formatting every single post.   Thanks for dealing with my anal-ness.  Laugh

The format I'm looking for is that the post title or tip will be linked with a one to two sentence description of the tip or article.  Make sense?

Here's an example:

<a href="http://personalfinancebythebook.com/financial-tips-for-life-after-divorce/">Financial Tips for Life After Divorce </a>. Financial tips for life after divorce and how to cope with them.

My goal is to get the rest of the submissions this week and post it the week after.

I've done a similar post on 2 separate occasions and always got decent traffic out of it, which should pass down to all those involved.   The first one I did was 107 Things That Make Good Financial Cents.  At one time (which still might be the case) that post had a higher page rank than my actual homepage.   Primarily, because it got some good recognition and mentions.  I'm hoping this will do the same.

I will accept more than one post per blog but probably cap it at 2
depending on the content and if somebody has submitted a similar post.

So please submit away.  And remember: HTML format.

Look forward to sharing the love!

Peace. Cool

Thanks for the opportunity Jeff! Below is my submission.

<a href="http://www.mypersonalfinancejourney.com/2010/07/is-it-good-to-give-your-children.html">Is It Good to Give Your Children An Allowance?</a>&nbsp;- Parents often give their children a weekly or monthly allowance. However, is this the best thing for their financial development? This post explores this question.

Thanks for the opportunity!  Here's my submission:

<a href="http://notmadeofmoney.com/blog/2011/07/at-what-age-should-you-teach-kids-about-money.html">At What Age Should You Teach Kids About Money?</a>.  Unfortunately, the question of when to teach kids about money doesn’t have one set answer. It is very similar to the subject of an allowance, in that there are a few variables which parents must consider.
