Hello everyone, hope everyone is swell.

I took about a month vacation and couldn't blog much at all… and along with my traffic, I have actually ranked higher in Alexa ranking.  I was at 189,000 and now I'm at 208,000.

I wrote a celebration post about reaching Yakezie Alexa challenge and it looks like I may have to delete that post.

Still working through the emotional damage right now.  Can anyone shed some light into this?

Alexa ranking is truly not that important in the big picture. I wouldn't worry about that for one second.  Just write and have fun with it.

Yes, it's pretty normal to see traffic begin to tail off after such a long break, especially for a newer site that is more dependent on regular visitors and less dependent on search visitors landing in deep archives.
