That's great. Any idea how passive it is? In other words, if you stopped working so hard writing new content, commenting, etc. How fast would it droop to an insignificant amount?

From what I understand, the earning drops pretty quickly if you don't add new content. That's the main problem with blogs. If you're looking for passive income, a niche site is much better for that.
