The latest Moz rank updates are in. I went from 4.58 to 5.1 that's a big jump! PA and DA also got increased.

Congrats on the jump (I think)!
I'm new to some of these rankings things. I know mozRank is important but what should I expect as a newbie blogger?
My site has been live for 3 months and I'm at a 3.47 ranking. I realize that is low in comparison to yours, but is that bad considering that I've just started?

Thats the exact rank I got when they first gave me a rank. So you are not bad. Experts say, Moz rank gives more acurate prediction on SE ranking, even better than PR.

I'd been using the tool on moonsy.com (http://moonsy.com/mozrank.php), but I like your link better, since it gives me other metrics as well. The odd thing is they are giving me slightly different numbers for MozRank.
My score went up a full point with the update. DA got a small bump, but PA is finally ranked. I was showing only a 1 for PA before, now I've got 35. Go me!
If You Can Read, You Can Cook's numbers are virtually unchanged.
On the topic of MozRank vs PageRank. I was reading through the introduction to an SEO guide a couple nights ago, and it alleged that Google doesn't even use PR anymore. The claim was that Google keeps talking about PR to throw people off the scent of the algorithm they now use, which the book called TrustRank, and is kept under much tighter wraps.
But thanks, OCAT, for the head's up. Time to update my advertiser pages!

I was below a 4 last time I checked and I'm 4.4 now. I'll take it.
What I like is where it predicts your next Google PR increase and it says I "COULD" be a 4 next time. That I like!

I was trending down but this bumped me from 5.04 to 5.16. Does MozRank tie into broken links and such? I cleaned up a ton over the past few weeks, so maybe that helped me out?

lol they've been predicting that I would be a 4 for the past year…and 3 updates later and im still a 2.

Well, now that I have learned how to check this one I know that I am at 4.53 – not sure from what but in January I was slightly over 4. So gone up.
As to the predictions of Google I am with Money is the Root – and with me the different between Moz and PR is huge. Confusing but I am not going to let it affect my life.

It would truly be nice if we could get more advertisers to pay attention to Moz as opposed to PR! Updates more frequently, and as SB said, I have told it's a more accurate depiction of SE power

I think I am on a rollercoaster! My MozRank was going down and now it is on an upswing (4.99 to 5.06)! I guess better than going down.
