Michael,
You might find this post interesting from when we cracked 200,000 in December. 178k today, but we got as low as 98k in the spring. A bunch of blogs disappeared then for various search-engine related reasons (I can only assume).

Woot! Mine plummeted another 2.6 million today! I think once it gets under 1 million I'll probably get bored tracking it, but then I'll become obsessed with it again when it gets closer to 200,000.

13 days in and I'm currently at 1,053,090. Looks like I have a reasonable chance of cracking 1M two weeks (to the day) after getting my initial ranking.

Edward, you nailed it. Today is October 1, exactly two weeks after Alexa first assigned a rating of a little over 11M and I'm now standing at 989,627.

My descent has slowed down this week, so I'm not going to make it under 1M tomorrow. I've been slacking in the networking department this week because I've been so busy with my non-virtual life.

For what it's worth, I'm still tracking this but not updating y'all on a daily basis. As of yesterday, I had dipped below 700k to 698,201. Still consistently dropping by at least 20-30k per day.

To be able to get under the 1M mark after 17 days!! that's some serious networking

Five weeks after receiving my first Alexa rank (somewhere north of 11M), my ranking has dropped to 478,379…
Interestingly (at least to me), it's fallen every single day in the time since I recv'd my first ranking. I would've expected at least an occasional random upward fluctuation.
