haha. I think what Derek and I enjoy the most is that we know that by competing with each other, we are helping each other reach our goals. Plus, now I have an advantage – he has a puppy to distract him. ;) Those extra few minutes are all I need. haha

I think you're right. I thought the site set-up would take a while, but it really didn't because I already did it once! I actually knew what I was doing this time. With this new site, I actually have 5 projects for 2012. It might get a little crazy, but I think I can handle it. I guess we'll find out soon enough!

Awesome! I started http://RegularRunner.com but my rules are I post when I feel like it, no money making on there yet, waiting for traffic to naturally build itself (up to about 20 visits a day).

Sounds like a cool site Forest! I will be monetizing my site soon, but just with Adsense, and I don't expect to make more than $10 a month. It will build up soon enough though – and I bet yours will too! Best of luck to you!

How is the SE traffic? I only have 4 posts on my Crohns site, and its only a month old, but I only get about 1 SE visitor per day lol…

Search engine traffic is just starting to come in. I probably get 1 or 2 a day as well….. but, I now rank #9 for the phrase, "Creating a Passive Income"! :)

I guess I should have signed up for that contest! My next mission is to rank high for "passive income", but that's going to take quite a lot more work! ;) It's coming though.
