Derek! Tell your worth to start her own business!
I look at all these people at Occupy Wall Street, and can only laugh. They're complaining about not being rich and being unemployed. That's the lifestyle they chose! When you work for others, you have to realize that you've put your fate in the hands of others. You no longer control your own fate. Your boss does. Your company controls you.
And no one's forcing you to work for others! So take the harder path. Take the path less travelled by. Tell her to start her own business, and she'll be able to control her own fate.
