Hey Yakezie, I need your help.  I solicited feedback, and took the advice to get a new logo.  Being a fairly standard guy though, I don't have much in the way of design sense.  Would you please take a look, and vote for which you like best?

I have a gallery and poll set up and it shouldn't take more than a minute.

Thanks!

those are all great designs. I voted for the first one but I liked #5 as well!

I need to get one of these someday.

I like the last three better than the first three. My gut was 4 or 6 at first glance, but after looking again 5 is very good too. I would avoid 1.

I don't like #1 – I think the black just makes it too dark. 4, 5, and 6 are my favorites, though 2 and 3 are good too! I'm having a very hard time deciding!

Definitely tough – I ended up going w/2.  I liked 1 a bit better but thought the black may be problematic and 2 would be more practical and cleaner… my two cents… don't spend it all in one place :)

I think that #1 is the best looking one, but the black background may not be practical in the long run. If not 1 then go with 2.

I really appreciate all the feedback.  I think that many of you are running into the same thoughts that I had.  The black one is a bit unique and visually interesting, but would a black banner work in the long run?  I also like the two monks, it's well done and would work well.  It's tough to choose just one (and I may try and offer some cash to the other designer who doesn't win to get two.)

If you haven't voted, I'd still love to hear what you like best!  And thanks again everyone!

I really liked the one with the monk at the table, no oval.  Then again, I'm a new blogger and don't know much about site logos!  Smile

AP, I'm new too, thus why my current logo apparently "sucks."  Lol.  I've found something to like in all the designs that I put up for a vote, these represent the best of what was submitted, after a lot of feedback and refinement.  In fact, there is still refinement occuring, and I'm hoping to be able to use some of the feedback here to help make it even better.  Thanks a bunch for checking it out, it really does help.

I like 2 and 5 as well. But I don't like the hoods in #5 if you know what I mean…could get the wrong idea. Lots of potential here. Good work.

Voted. I personally liked #2 the best, for a tangential reason that it could also mean they are literally worshiping money. #6 sort of conveys this too, but #2 does it best. The rest of them emphasizes on the "cult" part but that could be any cult. Just my 2c.

I think I am in the minority but I voted for #5. I guess I liked the attitude it conveyed and the fonts.

What a great idea, having the readers pick via a poll.

Did you design all of these yourself?

I voted for the first one.

Ha!  No, I don't have anywhere near the type of skills that were on display.  I continue to get new designs that I like.  It really is difficult to choose.  But I'll be forced to in 2 more days. :)  I thought that since I don't have the best eye for design, I'd poll the smart folks around here to help me out.  I think it is working splendidly.  What's better than a voting contest to help pick the winner of my design contest?
