Thanks for the sign-ups and support everyone. With such a great response, I'll close the sign-up this Sunday and let everyone know about the team. And below are what are requested from each team member on your team. I want to stick with the spirit of Yakezie's "selflessly promoting others" and define few action items we can commit to.
1) FB likes/twitter follow/Google+ (Thanks Barbara)
2) Active support through commenting on posts
3) Be mindful of post mentions in your own postings
4) Blog carnival/blog round-ups if you do any of those
5) Blog audit… (This is a maybe) brutal take on pros and cons of each other's blogs. Maybe make another google doc where we can comment. Assign a date for each blog and just share our thoughts. I think we can all learn a lot just from these comments for your own blog and others.
Let me know what you guys think and feel free to add to the list.
Cheers.

Thanks for organizing this Peter! If you are looking to increase visibility for your site this is one of the best ways to do so!

Uber, I like the organization. Would like to make sure that each list is not too large, so we can keep up our commitment.
Thank you

Yes Barbara. I found summer team which was 12 little too much for me to commit to. I'm thinking 8 at most.

I signed up.
1) FB likes/twitter follow/Google+
This takes just a few minutes and you only have to do it once. We should do this for everyone that signed up, not just your group.

Hey guys, I took Retireby40's advice and followed everyone on twitter. I also made it simple for everyone to quickly click and follow by find/replacing all @twitter handles with the http:// links so you can click quicker. Hope that doesn't make it worse if you have a better way of batch following (I can find/replace back quickly if so).
Question on facebook "liking": I have a business page I think ( https://www.facebook.com/pages/Root-of-Good/404223606344928 ). It acts differently than my personal FB page and I can't seem to "like" anyone's page using my rootofgood fb page. Tips? Should I sign up for a personal fb account for rootofgood so I can interact with people?
Thanks!

You can change your FB identity(???) by clicking on the gear in the upper right corner.
You'll see "use facebook as"…
I have my personal account and Retire By 40 page and I liked your page as both of them.
More liked. Yes! Anyway, I think that's the way it works.

Thanks, I couldn't figure out how to convert back to a regular FB account from the business page I have set up. But I did manage to like everyone through my Root of Good FB account. Click the gear on each blog's fb page, select like and then confirm. 2-3 minutes max to hit all of them.
FYI, thanks for the follows on twitter everyone.

Alright, below is the link to your Fall/Winter Team. I have divided them up to 3 teams of 9, 8, 8 respectively.
It looks like some of us have already gotten started with FB likes, Twitter follows and Google+. Keep in mind that we are doing that for all people that signed-up regardless of your assigned team members.
Again, thank you very much for your participation and here is the link.

I'm looking for editors, beta-readers, and some demographic research for my upcoming novel, Once Upon a Saturn Moon. If you like reading soft sci-fi thrillers, maybe with a touch of romance thrown in, you can find more information at http://seampublishing.com/once…..aturn-moon

It looks like I missed this one too. Is there still room for another member? I loved my summer team.

I would like to sign up as well. This is one of my favorite things about Yakezie and I've never missed it once.
I admire the enthusiasm but I think things like this should be open for at least a week. My wife's grandmother passed away last week and I've been offline since Thursday afternoon. I also know that many people, often myself included, probably aren't as active on the weekends.
Again, not meaning to take anything away from those who are graciously organizing this, but I think a three day time window for particiatping in an event that will likely last months is probably going to leave a lot of people out who would otherwise love to participate. I'd recommend re-opening this. The more the merrier and it will only help us all to have more participation.
I'll add my name in hopes that we can get a few more teams out of this. (Edit: Or not as it looks like it's already been closed)

I agree with MoneyBeagle on this. While fortunately I did get on a team since I saw the post right away (and absolutely appreciate that someone took initiative to get it started), sign ups have always been open for longer than just a few days. I'd say a 2-week open sign up period would help get more people involved, since not everyone is checking the forums every few days. Perhaps the signups could be reopened for those who missed out? Thanks.

I would agree with the others. I completely appreciate those that have organized it, but I think in times past it was open for at least a week if not closer to two weeks. I did get put on a team, which I am thankful for, but think it should be open for longer to allow others to take part as well.

I got on a team, but can we put all the people that were unable to sign up on their own team, or we can try and make 3 teams of 10.
