Hi everyone,
I've been working with a web designer the last few months to give The Penny Hoarder a fresher, more professional look. We've finished the logo/header & the social media pages and I'd love to know what you think….

I'll probably tweak it a bit more over the next couple of weeks based on the feedback and the full site redesign won't be done until Spring.

Great design upgrade Kyle. The old design was quite basic. This is a much more professional looking design. It sounds like you've got a lot of exciting additions coming on that site too. Good job!

Really professional looking Kyle. The font and colors go well with your theme!
The only thing that caught my eye, no pun intended, was the graphic for the penny. It is probably just my head cold….
Congratulations on the new look Kyle! I am finishing up the final touchup on the Bloggers Classifieds graphics and then I need to do something with FT! I have been putting it off for way too long!

I like it too. Did you consider/try making Abe Lincoln wink goofily (?) on the penny? Just curoius, I like how it looks now. Simple and clean (although I haven't seen the old design…).

Looks fantastic. I like it a lot. The only thing I could possibly poke fun at is that the penny looks like a cookie. Would it be possible to add a few distinct details?

I love the clean look, but agree, I'd like to see more details on the penny at the top. Maybe that is easier said than done?

Thank you everyone! I really appreciate both the compliments and the criticisms…
I'm not sure what'll they do, but I'm sure we can come up with something to make the penny guy look more like a penny and less like a cookie. Haha! I've been staring at this thing for months so it's so nice to have some fresh eyes on it. ;)

The logo is very cool I like it. I didn't see the twitter/facebook/rss feed icons. Maybe I missed it but if not it would be cool to have at the top or near the top of the page.
