Hi Guys, I'm new to Yakezie and want to say Hi. I'm looking to get my new infographic site out to you guys. It's called http://www.moneyinfographics.com and it's aim is to publish any infographics about you guessed it money or personal finance.
I know it's not your typical personal finance blog, but I'm catering to a niche who prefers to view images rather than scroll through text. If anyone wants to submit an infographic, feel free to send me a message!

Good luck with the new site. As mentioned in our e-mail conversation, I do think you will be better off adding a bit more commentary with each post. Without text, you usually won't get much love from the search engines. You'll be fighting an uphill battle anyway.
Also, you might as well include a link to your site in your signature here to get some extra links. With minimal text, links will be even more important for you.

Cheers guys for the awesome tips!
Funnily enough, I've had this site for a couple of months now (haven't done a great deal to it) but seem to rank well locally for finance related infographic terms which is kinda cool (although I reckon the competition isn't massive given it's rather niche).
I think my main motivation in joining Yakezie is to get a larger reach with like minded personal finance related people. If this site goes well and I get people interested in posting on my site then I'll consider a text based personal finance site I can blog on as well, I know my wife would be perfect person to submit blogs, she'd give the frugelest on Yakezie a massive run for their money, bless her!!
Maria: Good to see another Brit on Yakezie and I won't hold it against you that you're from my rival city (as long as you don't support United haha). I'll add you to Twitter as well.

Its clear that all the infographics are from companies that are trying to advertise – are you getting paid to post these?

Not as yet, the site is new, but if the content is decent I'm happy to post. My plan is to get as much authority on the blog as possible then look to charge once I've got some authority about. MJTM do you know anyone who would be interested in posting, always looking for new posts and infographics.

We get a slew of companies trying to offer up this type of advertisement under the guise that "so much time and effort was put into developing the graphic" that the link to their client is simply a courtesy. I just delete the emails from these companies.
