We get a slew of companies trying to offer up this type of advertisement under the guise that "so much time and effort was put into developing the graphic" that the link to their client is simply a courtesy.  I just delete the emails from these companies.

 

Hi Sustainable, I totally sympathise with you, however I believe that if the content is awesome then why not post it, it'll help your readers in the long run if it's great and helps them learn something new.

I've got a friend who I wouldn't be surprised would have been one of these companies contacting you. He can confirm that there's plenty of money being spent on creating the perfect infographic, designers need to be paid and even an idea has to be made as well. But yeah like most of use I wouldn't say no to a nominal fee
