Got an email from someone at nrelate.com. Apparently, they have a related posts plugin that has a new, fancy algorithm to help with the related posts section at the end of posts. Also sounds like they have a way to add ad links into that same section.
Anyone used them yet? Other thoughts?

I've used their related posts and most popular posts plugins a few months ago. The only good thing about the plugins is all the algorithm and data is done through nrelates servers. So it's great if you're trying to reduce the load on the your sites server.
The one problem I have had (a rather big one) it would stop working. Making it useless, unless I was constantly keep track of it. There's something to be said on reliability and I wasn't impressed.
As far as advertising, I didn't try it and the plugins unreliability didn't make sense to try advertising when the plugin wasn't working 100% of the time.

I asked them about actual numbers and they were a joke at best…like 10 cents a click joke.

I should mention that the rep was very professional and even mentioned that I should still get the plugin even after I turned down the advertising. Thought that was cool of him.

I got the same email. I ignored it – too much else going on right now. :)

The email at least got me to look into LinkWithin which I now believe routes clicks via their site from SPF to linkwithin and back to SPF, which I do not like.

That is correct, but I get a lot more deep post exposure and clicks using it than without. I do it on single post only, not homepage.

Yes, but you are then linking to their site a number of times each post. And increasing bounce rate. I am looking for an alternative now.

Not sure I will try THIS one out. I might just go back to YARPP.

Well, I have started using the plugin, will monitor the bounce rate and let you know if I see improvement. The immediate positive things I noticed is, the size of the thumbnail can be adjusted and so is the number of related posts.
