Hi,

I'm wanting to do an online chat… where I can talk about stocks, etc. while people can either participate via asking questions (typing) or perhaps verbally.

I was thinking of using Skype… but I'm not sure that would work… any other ideas?

Sounds like an interesting idea. A lot of sites use twitter (using hashtags), but not sure if you want to have it public. It also wouldn't allow for a verbal communication.

Thanks… yes, I've considered this, but wanted to "talk" I think in order to explain… thus why I was thinking Skype… not sure how many people can join and if I can block them from talking when I want to or?

I've never been able to get more than one person on Skype.  If you're wanting to broadcast to multiple viewers, Skype probably wouldn't work.

I've had pretty good luck with skype, connecting up to 4 people on 1 call.  Went off without a hitch the first time I tried it too

I'm looking at connecting with 25 or 50 people… any webinar type of tools that won't cost me an arm and a leg?  I only have two of each Laugh

Exactly… Go to Meeting is out of my range, but that's the kind of thing I'm looking for…

Eric!  It looks like I owe you BIG!  That looks very much like what I'm looking for… I'll be exploring it in the next few days! Thanks so much!!  Please email me Eric… I'd like to talk with you briefly too (perhaps Skype)?
