Open Invitation to join a community Pinterest board | Bloggers Lair | Yakezie Forums

Hi folks, 

We have had a little bit of success getting traffic from Pinterest on a few of our articles and blog posts. 

I'd like to try a group board around the theme of your favorite way to save money. If you would like to pin to this board, please let me know and I will add you. I can't promise any new traffic, but it is fun to try new things and see where it goes. 

I have already invited a few of you and will invite more as soon as Pinterest will let me. I got an Ooops message b/c I got a little eager and invited too many at first. :) It won't hurt my feelings if you would rather not since it does show among your Pinterest Boards. I will do my best to keep an eye on it to make sure pins stick with the theme and the cover photo is attractive.

Pinterest has added some interest to my day. I like seeing which articles/pins people choose to repin and which boards they follow. (I know….I have a sad, sad existence. Ha!)

No worries at all! It's a fairly specific board – favorite way to save money – so not every post or photo is going to fit. That being said, please feel free to pin older posts fit the board's theme and you certainly aren't limited to one.

One of the things I've learned (after I pinned to much in one day trying to get all of our content on) is that followers don't like if if you flood their stream or front page. 

For the past two months we've had double the traffic from Pinterest as Twitter and the traffic is coming from non pf bloggers where as on Twitter, we just haven't quite built a group of followers outside the other pf bloggers.
