Okay friends, I know you're as nuts about checking stats as I am (heck, being obsessed about numbers is what makes us good personal finance bloggers AND Yakezie challengers/members) so I wanted to tell you all that Google has updated its Page Rank.
Check out this site and see where you land! I'm now a 4, so you all can start taking me seriously now. :)

Well, I think it is time to start taking The Money Principle seriously as well – just found out that after nearly three years hard work, I've gone to 4. My predicted PR is still 5 (has been for over a year now so…).

No change for me. Not terribly unexpected, however, considering the things that I know are holding me back. But those fixes (a site redesign to make it faster and a better camera to take better photos) are 2 of my 3 controllable financial goals for 2014.

I'm at pagerank zero too! It's like golf, the lower the score the better. Or like Alexa ranking. I'm at 90,909 Alexa right now. Just started blogging in September 2013. They must not give out PR's for blogs started after a certain date. I'm not too worried either. Except it means I'm unlikely to ever get private advertising if this really is the last PR update ever. :)

I read in some forums that people suspect the update, while it was just publicy released, is based of August/September data. No clue why that would be, but I have seen quite a bit of chatter that believes it to be true. That would explain why some blogs started around that time mysteriously have no PR on this update.

I'm still at a PR3 but my other site jumped from a 0 to a 3. I'm hoping that the update is based on Aug/Sept. I've done some changes/improvements with MoneySmartGuides after that in hopes of moving up to a PR4.

How exciting – everyone seemed to suggest that google pagerank was no more. Nice to have an updated. I've gone from N/A to 2 since starting up in the summer of this year. Can't compain with that!!
