She just renewed her domain a couple of months ago, so I'm thinking the page change isn't on purpose. I hope she had backups…

The wierd thing is that you'd have to wipe the site to get a page like that up. Also, the email isn't coming back as error or anything, it's coming back with a message that the email address doesn't exist. Which means that it would have to have been deleted. I really do hope it was just that she didn't have time for the site and decided to give it up, and not something more serious.

Good point about the domain. I did a quick whois to make sure she still owned it…it's registered until next October, so at least the domain hasn't expired on her.
If it happens to be a hosting problem/whatever, I have plenty of spare space/bandwidth on a reseller account of mine that she's more than welcome to use.

Her email is a gmail account though, so highly unlikely that it all blew up at once without some help.

You hit the nail on the head BB. She got too overwhelmed with work and blogging. She shut everything down. It's gone for good. I am beyond surprised she didn't tell anyone…

I agree with BFS. Sometimes we hit a rough patch in life/work/blog/school/everything else, but I would leave my site up, and if I ever wanted to pick back up, it would be ready to go. Plus, it would earn a little something from what you already wrote!

Wow, I'm shocked that she didn't post a farewell article or something. At least post it in the forums. Well, I hope everything else is ok with her! I think I would leave my sites up as well.
