I know that Sam had issues in the past using PayPal for "donations." Here is a heartbreaking story about PayPal screwing over a great program:

Just a word of caution to beware when dealing with PayPal. I know we all use it, so make sure you don't get your money locked up.

Wow, from the number of comments that is in the link as well as their Facebook wall, it looks like this has gone viral quick. WSJ and other media have picked up the links as well. I bet somebody at PayPal just lost their scheduled conference room as this has to be getting discussed.

Wow, that sucks. Sounds like Paypal needs to get there policies straightened out. They should make a site show proof of their non-profit site before even allowing them to use the donate button.

Thanks for sharing that Khaleef. I am glad it was solved. However, I bet it would not have been had the story not been shared so publicly on Facebook, Twitter, and other forums like these. That is the power of social media.
