Hey everybody,
I just read about a contest for personal finance guest posts where the grand prize is $1000. The details are at this link:
http://www.creditcardscanada.c…..paid-1000/
On the other hand it is an interesting marketing strategy for Credit Cards Canada…they get a bunch of sponsors to offer up prizes in return for links and in the process they get a ton of free content for their site, as well as lots of links and free promotion. Might be worth keeping an eye on how this works out for them…maybe Yakezie.com could do something similar at some point.

Saw this yesterday. You have to applaud their marketing tactic.

That is a great prize and a very smart concept.

I read thru the entry requirements and unless you have a post go viral chances are one of the sites w/ 1000's of subscribers will take this one. Just my opinion.

12 places are paid in all. There will only be one $1000 winner but $500 goes to second place and $100 to third. There are ten slots for 3rd.
One of my sites is helping sponsor the contest.

I agree with Sustainable PF that unless you have a ton of readers, you probably don't have a shot. However, I'm still curious and will check it out.
