Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone has thought about, or already have an iphone app for your website.
If you already have, can you share some details about:
1. Who developed the app for you
2. What are advantages of having an app ?
I'm seriously thinking of getting one developed and would love to hear from someone who has thought about it too.

Interesting you ask… I just sat down with a friend (who knows nothing about stocks but a lot about programming) to discuss developing an App that would compliment my site. We're just beginning the process…but are excited. I'm looking forward to hearing what others have to say too!

A few Yakezie members have used this service for Andriod apps: http://www.blog2android.com/ As far as I understand, it turns an RSS feed into an app.
It's not a high-powered product–you can't do a whole lot but just read the latest entries–but for $45 it's probably the best deal going. High-end app development starts at $5,000, and often exceeds $10,000. It's a steal, really, and a great value for the money.

Thanks… I had never heard of this option.

I used Blog 2 Andriod and I am extremely happy with the result. He (Jesse, who is also a Yakezie member), was/is also working on developing iPhone apps as well. I'll point him to this thread so he can chime in.
