Hi!  Hope you don't mind a little begging, but I've made it into the CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND of Jacob's blogging competition, the 2013 Tour de Personal Finance.  LAST ROUND!

This one is really awesome since the winner gets $700 donated to their charity of choice (the Houston SPCA) and wins $100 for themselves too.  :-)  

I could use all of the help I can get by this Wednesday, July 24th (the other post is ahead by 18 already).

Here's how to vote if you can find a minute to spare:

1. Click here to get to the competition at http://www.mypersonalfinancejo…..print.html.

2. Scroll down to the “Speak Your Mind” box under that post.

3.  Enter your name, an email, and type “Husband” into the comment box.

4.  Check the little box that says “Check here if you are human and have a pulse”

5.  REMEMBER TO CHANGE THE SUBSCRIPTION OPTION BOX FROM "ALL" TO "DON'T SUBSCRIBE" or you'll get emails every time someone votes.  I left myself subscribed, but I doubt regular voters like you really want every email, but could be fun, lol.

6.  Hit “Post Comment”

I'm friends with both of you, so I can't vote this time. Not picking sides :)

A big thanks to both Crystal and John for really taking this competition to the next level in the final round. There were over 150 votes in the last stage alone. Crazy! 

I have processed the donations and together, a combined $900 was donated to Trisomy and the Houston SPCA for their amazing efforts! Great stuff and great charities.
