Hey everyone,
The Plutus Awards are back. The awards season starts today — for the next week we're taking suggestions for award categories (like Best Frugal Blog, Best Investing Blog, etc.). The process will continue with nominations and voting, culminating in a small ceremony at the Financial Blogger Conference where we'll announce the winners. A hard deadline means the process will be timed better than last year's…
The awards should represent the full personal finance blogging community, so everyone has a say…
At 12 PM Eastern, this post will be live for soliciting input from everyone: http://www.plutusawards.com/se…..ategories/
The purpose of The Plutus Awards is to celebrate and promote the best among personal finance blogging (and for personal finance bloggers to select their favorite financial products and services). This is not a money-making venture. :-) The hope is that it increases public awareness.

Thanks to everyone who's suggested award categories so far. If you want to have a say in how the Plutus Awards are formed this year, head on over to the link I posted at the top of the thread! We're taking all sorts of suggestions… not just on the categories. (Who's we? Primarily me and a few other bloggers helping with various facets of the awards.)
