I think the important thing is to keep to a regular schedule, whether that's once a week on Mondays, M-W-F, T-Th, Mon-Fri, daily, whatever. That way people who like your blog know what to expect. I know a lot of times if I go back to a blog that I like and they haven't posted, after a couple times of that I just don't go back, either because I assume they've blog faded or because I just plain forget.

D'oh!  I have been anything but consistent.  When I get an article done I tend to post it … perhaps I/we should switch this up.

started off daily, then cut down to once every 2 days, now at 1 every 4 days. goal is to get to 1 per full week (7 days).  when i feel like getting chatty, i simply write it out and schedule for the near future. i know some who have posts scheduled 4-5 months out. wow.
