I know a couple of you have had posts published on MSN money, so I'm wondering what sort of impact you saw and if it was something similar (they asked you to republish an older post).

MSN used to drive more traffic but you should still see some visitors. It's great exposure either way.

To answer some of your questions, I was approached by them the night before, and they basically just asked for my permission as well as three links to include pointing back to my site. I didn't solicit them in any way so I can't answer how they found my site, but it's cool that they did!
I had 26 visitors from them which isn't big but is still cool, and hopefully the links add value, too. The funny thing is if I search for the title the MSN blog post appears first, while my own blog appears on the 2nd page of the search engine results. ;)

Same sort of thing when time.com picked us up. Not a ton of traffic but the link juice will (and may have already) help a lot. I'm noticing a lot of the keywords I target are on page one of G now.
