Hey guys, here is a follow up from my May blog stats thread! Last month andrea noted I was double counting my page views due to having my google analytics code in my blog twice… oops. I fixed it and here are more accurate stats for the whole month of June! How is your blog doing?

Visits: 1,332
Unique Visitors: 869
Pageviews: 2,569
Pages / Visit: 1.93
Avg. Visit Duration: 00:04:08
Bounce Rate: 52.55%
% New Visits: 59.38%
Also, as of Yesterday I had 104 Twitter followers, 53 RSS subscribers and 12 Facebook likes.
Does anyone have any tips on how to continue blog growth? I comment a lot and have been trying to get some guest posts here and there (although they don't seem to drive a ton of traffic…)!

I'm not going to do screenshots of everything, but here are mine:

Visits 346 (down slightly from May)

Unique Visitors 228 (also down from May)

Pageviews 665 (up 5% from May!)

Pages/visit 1.92 (up)

Avg. Visit Duration 3:06 (up almost 50%)

Bounce Rate 59% (down ~10%)

% New Visits 60% (down ~10%)

I did however break 200k in Alexa for the first time, as of this morning.

So June was a month of sideways growth, although my other blog did experience good growth. Visits & pageviews are up about 25% from last month.

I'm looking for editors, beta-readers, and some demographic research for my upcoming novel, Once Upon a Saturn Moon. If you like reading soft sci-fi thrillers, maybe with a touch of romance thrown in, you can find more information at http://seampublishing.com/once…..aturn-moon

It was because one of my articles, 3 reasons to become a minimalist, attracted over 4K page views.

If you are now excluding your own visits, I would say that you have an exceptionally high average duration per visit!  Good job.

How do I exclude my own visits? I definitely would like to do that to get the most accurate stats.

I use the plugin Google Analyticator on my blog…and the settings have an option to exclude admin visits.

Guest posting and carnival submissions are both time consuming, but great ways to get referral traffic and then repeat direct traffic.  I've definitely received subscribers from both.

site stats

The numbers are low but at least the slope looks good :) I guess that's to be expected for a 3 month old site. I've found commenting on other blogs and utilizing social networks to be the most beneficial traffic generators so far. My Google search numbers are also doubling everyday, which is very important.
