I should have know when I was contacted via email over the last couple of days and asked to remove a few links that I was about to receive a SMACKDOWN! My PR 3 is now 0. Traffic doesn't seem to be effected, at least not yet, wasn't that great to start with. ;)
So I'm left wondering what the next step should be. I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing with a couple obvious changes but I'm interested to hear from those who have gone through this.
What changes have you made to how you operate your blog given the "new reality" courtesy of Big G? (You can email me if you are not comfortable posting your thoughts!)
Thanks – Paul

Really? I don't see any obvious nasty links that should get you in trouble – did you remove them already?
Cheers

Sorry to hear, Paul. I would check Webmaster Tools to see if you got the big bad smackdown notice – right now I'm still seeing you as PR 3.

OK, that was a strange. Yesterday the PR Checker on my Toolbar showed zero, now it shows 3.

Seems like a lot of people are having problems with the toolbar, even if Google did send you a message. Better to use a page-ranking site instead of the toolbar:

Dang I got excited, "oooo someone else was at a zero and today is at a 3!" but alas, it is not yet in the cards for me. :)

I just got hit with a 0 a couple of days ago. We'll see how it pans out. Good luck everyone!

Sorry to hear about all people who got down- ranked; I am sure the whole thing will settle down (be sorted out) and the angst and worry you have to go through today is just a temporary glitch.
I, on the other hand, seem to be stuck in a purgatory of 1 – it is there, it stays; all my lines are moving in the right direction (traffic up, time on site up, oages viewed up, Alexa down etc.) but my PR is firmly at 1.
Was there a MozRank update in April? Because if I stayed the same there as well.
Maria

I did not have such a drastic change. I was a PR 5 and now I am a PR 3 I do not know if it was because I did not update my site for over a month or what, but it was up there for a while.
