I know that it is frowned upon to submit your own posts to Stumble or Reddit. What about PF Buzz? Can you submit your own posts there, or is that frowned upon too? Just curious. Thanks.

I am not sure. I haven't used this one. Try emailing Jesse to see what he says.

PF Buzz is just like Tipd where many of us have submitted our own stuff (me included). I don't believe it's frowned upon so as long as you don't abuse it.
I did this on Tipd in the early days where I was submitting a post almost every day. Back then it was a lot easier to get your posts published, too.
If it's really a good article that feel deserves more attention, go for it.

I used to post to PF Buzz all the time. There is no problem with you posting your own articles. It only takes 4 votes to get published as well, so you should really take advantage of the site.

Tip'd and PF Buzz are two places where it's OK to sub your own stuff. It doesn't hurt to sub other stuff and vote on other people's stuff as well (it's real easy to vote on other articles on those sites with all the great articles there).

yup, what they said. Fine to submit your own although it doesn't hurt to submit for other folks and vote on theirs too.

Goodness, I'd forgotten all about Tip'd.
Does it send decent traffic?

I only get a few visitors from Tip'd, but I only submit for the link, anyway.

Thanks for the love Mike!
Hopefully more of you have heard of fwisp now that all the FINCON attendees got those handy pens ;)
Don't look for any real direct traffic from any of those three sites… the real benefit is a dofollow link when you get published, leading to ranking improvement in google and then more search traffic.
