Hey All,
I've been trying to work with a friend on a new site logo for a few months and she keeps flaking out on me. Any of you have recommendations for people you've worked with? I don't have too big of a budget and I'm not looking for a complete redesign, but I need something more than what I've got now.
Thanks! :)

I've used Fiverr before for one of my other sites. The only issue is you have to give some guidance. My first time, the logo was junk. The second time, it was much better. The difference was I provided some idea of what I was looking for and I looked at their previous work examples to see if they actually put some effort into the job or just slap something together in 20 seconds.
Also, make sure they offer a free revision or 2. There are a lot of sellers on there that do. And honestly, you might be able to get another revision too because no one wants negative feedback. At the end of the day, it's $5 so for me it was worth it to take the chance.

Honestly I never heard of any satisfied logo buyer on Fiverr. Spending some money to create a decent brand would be my reco.

Thanks! I did try one guy with Fiverr and it ended up horrible even after three or four revisions. But I guess there may be some on there that give better quality. Guess I've got some more research to do!

Hi Ben, I've heard of a lot of people satisfied with 99 Designs (99designs.com). It's normally $299 for 30 designs (crowdsourcing), but you can find a discount by searching "99 designs discount" into Google. I think you can get it under $200.

I've used 99 Designs and been happy. My sister-in-law has done my recent logo work and did a great job. She is at ElizabethWillhite.com.
