One more question – we received a comment that suggested our blogs were hard to read because of the gray on gray color. I tend to agree…especially when I'm in a place with lots of sunlight. Are there any design oriented bloggers who can suggested a color scheme for our blog text & background that would make it easier to read?

Thanks a bunch!

I think just changing to a black font would fix things. Sorry, I'm a pretty boring guy.

If you wanted to keep the text grey (which I can understand as it adds some sftness to the feel of the blog) I would suggest a dark grey like #444444.

You think so? So you don't think making the text darker would make it better? It does depend on the light. When I'm in my laundromat, I tend to sit with my back to these huge windows so on my laptop with the glare…it's a strain. But of course sitting at home now, no problem.

Thanks for the feedback.

On my laptop I thought the lighter color was a little difficult to read.  it is a little easier when I view it on the desktop with big monitor.  My advice would be to darken the text, at least slightly.
