I started a new segment on Money for College Project called the "Scholarship of the Day". I am scouring the web for awesome scholarship opportunities for parents and students to check out. 

If you know of any scholarships, or have heard of any, please send me a note and let me know. I'd be happy to give you a back link or mention for referring a quality scholarship.

Definitely an interesting idea

Because of my work with Boy Scouts I can wholeheartedly endorse the National Eagle Scout Association Scholarship

Great organization and scholarships range from $1000 to $50,000.

You also might want to contact the Guidance Counselor's Office at your local High School for other scholarship opportunities.

Have you done any work with scholarship consultants? There's a company called n2college that specializes in helping students find scholarships. Their website is http://www.n2college.com. They might be a good source for rare or little known scholarship info.
