I use my one adsense account for all of my sites as well. I actually also limit where my ads can be shown, so none of my code shows up on another site and gets fraudulent clicks and me banned.

On a new site I would also suggest no adsense. It lowers your overall CPM.

 

However, I would suggest channels once you get the site going for about a month or two.
