I'm playing with some new design ideas. After doing a little research I learned that my audience is overwhlmingly female. Taking this info, together with other audience demographics, I have been trying to come up with better colors for my site; more appealing colors.

My site had a a simple banner, orange font on black/gray background. Apparently orange and gray are 2 of the three least liked (hated) colors for women in online marketing. The top three are green, blue, and purple.

I discovered this tool that helps to choose a balanced color design scheme. Has anyone had any experience with it?

It could be useful when giving directions to a designer, or even creating your own color scheme.

Very cool tool. I am currently working on a site redesign and this is great. I think the complementing tool is the most useful myself. Some of the multiple color options (more than 2) seem to complex, but that is just me.

Thanks for sharing!

Cool tool.  I might use a suggested combo on a new site.

I haven't heard of it, but if you are looking for a graphic designer, my wife has some experience and has very competitive rates (especially for Yakeziers). Let me know if you're interested.

I like the new colors as well.  Your research is the exact reason why my website is the color that it is

I really like your color combination now. This tool could be useful. The only thing is I personally like blending colors (just my taste, for example I won't use red & green, I will use different shades of green/blue) there is no way to do that with that tool. I should do a revamp soon as well.
