We're just starting to see trends at our fairly new blog (4 1/2 months). Thursday we don't post, so I'm beginning to see a drop that day. Saturday is also my slowest day. Monday and Tuesday we rock. I'm not sure if it's because of our weekly Monday topic or just generally a good day. From what I'm reading here, it appears to be all of the above.

My busiest day seems to be friday. My theory is because it is one of the days I post and also because people are using Friday to catch up on posts they didn't have time to read during the week.

 

Saturday & Sunday alternate between being my slowest day.  Besides the weekend, I always seem to have a dip in traffic on Wednesdays.

 

Now for the food blog, 99% of traffic is organic search, and seems to be pretty steady throughout the week.
