Did you hear about the newlywed wife who's wedding checks were turned away by Bank of America? The article made national headlines (here's the scoop from the Consumerist) The story involved the wife of a reporter from the Albany Times Union: Pete Iorizzo

hahaha. I'm not sure if the comparison to a secured transactions professor is a compliment :p

I just read all three articles, and the thing that impresses me is how you jumped on this news story and were able to garner media attention (and a link from the reporter's blog to your site) by being proactive.
