I'm able to access now! No worries!
Thanks for letting me know. The baby woke us up last night and as I was getting back to sleep I was thinking about those that were reporting problems, so I'm glad it worked. Will still keep an eye out though.

Good clean look. People would love to see an archive and a sidebar section with pillar posts.
I have an archive but it's a dropdown. Since I've got over three years worth, I didn't want that many links on the sidebar.
The pillar posts idea is great, I'll add that to the to-do list. Thanks!

Sooooo for those of us still considering this move – did you lose rank, traffic and etc?
Well it's been less than 48 hours but so far everything seems to be running as normal. Eric at Narrow Bridge (who was VERY helpful by the way, so a HUGE thank you to him) answered a lot of questions. He said that down the road I could temporarily get nicked on rank but it shouldn't be a long term thing. I'm hoping it's a 'no-term' thing.
But my PR3 and Alexa ranking stayed intact according to my toolbars. I know there are plugins to do URL redirects since URLs are often different when WP creates the imported post on their end, but I was fussy and went through post by post and made sure that they matched, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I don't lose site or even individual page rank.
I would recommend doing the move ASAP because I do believe being on Blogger hurts your Alexa rank tremendously. It dawned on me last week as I was responding to some comments on my site that all the comment links go to blogger.com, meaning that you're getting no Alexa juice throughout the entire commenting process, which if you're part of the focused groups (Go Group 3!), is a big thing.

Nice clean look to the site. WordPress is the way to go. I actually logged in to Yakezie to PM you, because of old pings from when you hosted the Carnival of Financial Planning. Then, I saw this thread, so no need for a PM.
WordPress has some nice redirect plugins, but hand coding works too. Even if the PR drops off temporarily, it will pop back up.
I noticed that I had pings coming in from both test.moneybeagle.com and http://www.moneybeagle.com and both these posts are live right now. That is true for other carnivals you hosted, as well. I clicked on several "related" posts and then changed www to test in the address bar and reloaded. The same full posts are showing in test and www. This will confuse Google, so you might want to kill off the text subdomain or redirect all of test to www via .htaccess

Thanks, Larry. I had created test.moneybeagle.com to build the site before the migration, and I thought I'd eliminated it but it was still a sub-domain in my hosting service. I just killed it so hopefully the pingbacks will stop and Google will not get confused. Appreciate the heads up! That could have been a big WOOPS!

Let me add to the others – looking good. I bet you'll love WP, coming from Blogger.

I like the new site. Leaving comments on your old site was a kinda of a pain, sorry to say.
