I think we should have a #PFDebate during the next presidential debate? Any suggestions for topics?

I'm in!
I think we should piggy back off of what ever economy topics they cover.

Is the next one on foreign affairs? I haven't seen a schedule, but I remember one will be on international issues. Don't know that I want to go there, but could be interesting to listen in! If there's another one on domestic issues, I'm all in!
Potential topics: potential effect of various tax hikes/breaks mentioned on families, fact-checking missions, who's winning?

I don't have the network to start off one of these things… does anyone know someone like a WiseBread or MoneyCrashers that would be willing to run it? I think if we stick to personal finance topics not related to the election it would be best. No one likes to mix politics with their favorite bloggers :)

This election seems more heated than any election in my memory. Bunch of unhappy people out there.

And see, I haven't seen it as heated as in the past. I think some of the base that Obama built in 2008 has been a bit disappointed so while they still support him, they're more muted. On the flip side, many hard line conservatives have begrudgingly accepted Romney. It's made for a less passionate election than I've noticed of recent elections. I predict turnout to be lighter than in the past several presidential elections.

After the first debate, I listened to several undecided callers comment on CSPAN. The general consensus seems to be that their choice is six of one or half dozen of another. A common thread among Romney supporters was that he wouldn't have been their first choice, but he'll do if the alternative is Obama. And I hear the same from disillusioned Obama 2008 supporters, although some of them seem to have made the jump to Romney.
I think this is going to be a very close race.

I'm in! Please remind and post this again during debate day to remind just in case.
I was playing tennis at a public park at 2pm on a Tuesday and saw the same ol 35-40 year old guys playing. They are always there no matter when I go.
When I asked them what they do for a living, they said, "Why work? We got Obama!"
Can't argue with that right guys? Sounds like a good life!
#USA!

Sounds like an excuse to me! Even if you max out unemployment, it is not enough to do anything but survive.
