I have started a new blog with multiple contributors.  It is a general financial blog type site which will publish daily.  The first post was published today.

Feel free to check it out at PennyThots.com.  I still have to get the logo up and going to work on the subscription feed right now.  There is a lot of work that I forgot about setting up a blog since it has been several months.

I write as Kidgas, Cash Flow Mantra, and Options Dude.

My main focus is:  Cash Flow Mantra and Grand Per Month.  Please feel free to subscribe.

I'm very excited that it's up! Got it saved in my RSS feed and Liked it on Facebook.

I'm looking for editors, beta-readers, and some demographic research for my upcoming novel, Once Upon a Saturn Moon. If you like reading soft sci-fi thrillers, maybe with a touch of romance thrown in, you can find more information at http://seampublishing.com/once…..aturn-moon

Thank you so much for all the support.  I am thrilled to be able to collaborate in this fashion.  It is more work on my end with editing than I thought it would be, but I have this week off work to try and get things off the ground smoothly.

I still have many things on my list to get done, and it is driving me nuts.  I will take some time out for 2 rounds of golf this week, though.  I need a mental break.

Instead of the normal congrats that seems to be general consensus in Bloggers Lair…I have to ask why?  Are these thoughts that you couldn't get out on your main blog?

There seems to be a trend here of people starting multiple finance type blogs and then the original (awesome) blog seems to suffer and you end up with 2 mediocre products rather than one really good one.

Just a thought.

Just a thought.

A very good and interesting thought to be sure.  I did start a second blog in Grand Per Month for a specific purpose and theme.  It was different in that it is less personal and more instructional and motivational in its content which is tied to the theme of the title.  It has a different purpose than Cash Flow Mantra which is more personal (read my finances) in nature.

As for the newest blog, it was less the content than the concept.  I want to see if a limited group of personal finance authors could put together a project of this nature.  I don't think that it will in any way diminish the quality of my other two blogs.  I certainly don't think that CFM will change at all.  In fact, the design might end up improving since I have more knowledge regarding that aspect of blogging.

It is a great question and point that you raise, however.  I would definitely appreciate it if you or anyone else would point out any quality lapses because I do want my stuff to be useful.

Wow, congratulations. When do you sleep? :) Enjoy the week off and don't stress about it too much. It's supposed to be fun-right?

Success with the new concept. Working together with a bunch of other people is not always easy. Motivation and ideas often diverge after some time. It will be interesting to here how you and your co-bloggers will manage this. Keep us updated.

I typically sleep about 4-5 hours per night from midnight to 4:30.  I am on vacation this week though so I actually slept in until 7:30, but may get up about 5.5 hours from now (12:10 am) since I have a 10:27 tee time and want to get some work done before playing.  I am looking forward to the golf.
