Two years and six days after graduation, I clicked the button to pay off my student loans once and for all. If you are interested in how I did it and what I am doing next, you can see the details here: http://www.narrowbridge.net/pa…..ent-loans/

NICE!!!!!  Congratulations!  I hate student loans but because I want to buy a(nother) house (we own 2 rental properties but rent where we live) I've let my student loans hang out for a while and plan to use the cash for a bigger down payment (higher interest on a mortgage, even after taxes, than my student loans and if I die the student loans disappear but not the mortgage…)  Once that's in place though I'm going to pound down the student loans.

How does it feel?  (I'll check out your post and "tweet the crap out of it" now).

Well done! This is a great achievement indeed; I find that only after debt is paid off one can focus on building wealth properly and in a big way.

Huge, massive, ginormous congratulations! We have two student loans. Even though I hate the monthly payments, our interestes it 0.22%, so for now I don't worry about them that much. Very happy for you!
