Wow! I wish I could be so fortunate! Let us know when you find out the secret to all that traffic! :)

Well I think what happened was I had submitted this post about Google Tax Avoidance to a couple carnivals and also submitted it for Neal/Breaking Broke's linking campaign in November.  So, maybe I ranked pretty high for Dutch Sandwich Tax all along, but never really noticed or cared.  Then, Dilbert came out today talking about the Dutch Sandwich Tax and readers all went and Googled it.  What are the odds?  (I was number 1 or 2 in Google search for that term oddly enough.)

I wish I could recreate something similar, because so far it gave me $38.00 in adsense revenue and 1700 new visitors.  I would love to have that kind of traffic/revenue regularly.  (I am sure many do, I am just a tiny fish though.)

Hmmm… Again I think that this is great motivation to just continue posting, until "one day you hit a jackpot".

That's even better because it means that your traffic stream should just keep on flowing.

Mental note: read Dilbert every day and writes an article to match the cartoon!

Awesome traffic surge.  Best of luck with it.  I hope a lot of people stick around.

If only I could predict what the Dilbert cartoon was going to be about ahead of time…

I was wondering about Neal's threat too, but the link to that page went in in November.  It is funny because it is now number one on Google search for 'Dutch Sandwich Tax'.  It is totally search engine traffic, and it just happened out of nowhere.

Thank Dilbert for the interest today.  http://dilbert.com/strips/comi…..2010-12-28  :)

Oh my gosh, you just made my day!  Thank you so much for letting me know.  Puzzle solved.  Just goes to show you just never know…

Congratulation!!! I read your comment and I thought to myself "I just heard that term today." I couldn't remember where though. :)
