Due to a recent change, I will be staying home to be a full time caregiver for my parents.  As a participant in the 30k challenge, I am looking to build an "Administrate Consulting" Business.  (aka Virtual Assistant)  My current knowledge is limited, so I am reaching out and asking for help and advice.  How do you decide what to charge?   I am interested in all aspects of the business, but am starting out small for now.  I am interested in commenting for others…. but do not know what to charge. 

 

If this topic is inappropriate, I apologize in advance.  I am just looking for help and advice.

Most virtual assistants charge per hours work. To get an idea of what virtual assistants are charging, take a look at a range of your 'competitors' (i.e for telephone answering alldayPA charge 78p a min/£1.05 per call, for document typing they charge 78p per min). It really depends of what services you are going to offer. Try virtualassistantforums.com (not sure if i can mention that?) for more help.
