Great advice John, I post anywhere between 3-5 posts per week. I eventually would like to post 5 post per week consistently. I am working on it!

I've been posting at least 5x a week for more than 6 years now — just not all in the same place.

Since January 2012, 5 posts per week to the best of my ability. Think I missed one day. 6 other articles per week on other sites. My newsletter and eBook projects.
To be fair, I don't have a family or anything. I have a part-time job, gf, and I train with my brother. I have more time than most bloggers.

I've written at least 5 posts a week almost consistently since I started in September. In the early days I was posting every single day. But now I take one or two days off per week. Sunday is my "review" post and the other days are articles/ posts. My minimum word count is 300 words. But quite a few of my last posts were over 350 inching towards 400.

I had to cut down on writing so much because I found my articles got seen more when I didn't post so regularly. I also find that unless you have a staff it gets a bit stale.

If I count both of my blogs (one co-owned with Hunter) I post 5+ days a week. BLL has new posts 6 days a week and LH has new posts 3 days a week. Sometimes I allow a guest post to take the place of an original post on LH, but not very often. I personally write 6 posts a week (3/3), but that's about all I can handle and sometimes I barely manage that!

I try for 3 times a week with a round up on the weekends. I find that I get more interactions on the post if they stay on 2 days or so.

Between staff writing, my blog and other sites I typically do 5 – 6 a week.

It depends, but generally I would say I post 4-6 times in a normal week. They vary from shorter, snappier ones to more thought-out posts with a bit more depth. I think both kinds of posts have their place, though of course I admire those who consistently deliver both quantity and quality.
I usually have up to two weeks of posts pre-scheduled, apart from my weekly roundups.17

When I was a political blogger: 3 times a day
Now I write 4x per week on my own and 7x if you include staff/ghost writing
My posts are 500-800 words/pageviews nonexistent at the moment.

Wow, some really productive folks! Nice work. Gives me good motivation to get cracking.
Perhaps 5X a week is becoming the norm now?
