Hi everybody!
This may be a dumb question, but I'm not scared to show my ignorance and ask them. :)
About 3 weeks ago Technorati stopped updating my Recent Influential Reactions. If you look at it now http://technorati.com/blogs/wo…..velive.com , it shows it was updated "1 day ago" next to those 'recent reactions.' However, they aren't from 1 day ago and they haven't added any new ones since March 3rd.
I can't seem to find anything on the Technorati's website that would help me – you visit Technorati Support page and it pushes you to a "get satisfaction" site. I posted my question on that site and it was flagged as spam and deleted.
So, that is why I come to you. Do you have any idea how I can fix that problem or get a hold of Technorati and let them know? I know the Technorati Rankings aren't the end-all-be-all, but it doesn't mean I want to be ranked in the 100s when I could easily be in the top 30.
Thanks for your help!
Jason

Nevermind…it seems to be adding my new 'recent reactions' but just further down the list. It doesn't really make any sense to me and it certainly wasn't doing that before.
It appears they're constantly updating those top 5 'recent reactions' that were from 3 weeks ago. Strange.

Technorati has always been a hard one for me to figure out! Took me quite some time just to get them to list my site… lots of technical issues on their end.

That's good to know! Thank you!
For a few weeks my feed didn't update on their site and now this mess with the reactions. I've dropped from 20 to 40 in Finance blogs and my thought is that could be the only reason. Although, I know the Technorati rankings are just a big game and people move up and down those lists like Tiger Woods on a golf leaderboard.
Regardless, it doesn't matter much. I've been focusing on increasing my traffic and that's the only thing that really matters at the end of the day.

Ditto that. Even though I think I finally got through, I've had enough problems where I honestly don't care and spend zero time on it.

Jason,
I have been having all kinds of issues with them. My site stopped updating, so i re-submitted. They came back saying I have a non-English blog?! WTF. I sent them a request to fix it. I will let you know how that goes. I'm guessing I will hear back within the year.

It seems you have already figured out the solution, but I figured I would add my experience with Technorati.
Technorati isn't the most important aspect of establishing your blog, but it still is important. Many people will say to ignore it, but I have found that it can be a legitimate source of traffic. Okay, nothing ground breaking, but if you are in the top 10 on one of the categories, it is easy to get 5-10 visitors a day. The rankings certainly do vary from day to day, but it's not completely random. Continue to focus on quality content and quality links to your site and you will see success, I am sure – in more ways than just Technorati. That's my $.02 for whatever it's worth.
