Congrats on the move so far.

When we bought our home last year our mortgage broker told us that lenders were being over-diligent to make up for all the stuff that went through the years before.  It's unfortunate when they go crazy on people that have all their ducks in a row though.

Hope everything goes smoothly for you!

Congratulation on the move so far. :)

Hope you braced yourself for a long wait on the short sale. I know it takes forever for the bank to respond. Good luck!

I had a 1 month internet-free time last december it was frustrating and liberating at the same time if that is possible… Hang in there Barb… Hope you close on your condo soon and everything else goes smoothly.

Hang in there, Barb! Don't forget that Starbucks has Wifi (of course I'd know this, right?!). If you have a laptop or notebook that can access that, you can sip coffee and blog till your hearts content. Good luck on getting into the Condo by mid-August!

@Suba, Life, Little House and all,

You guys are keeping me going. Not so. cal. unfortunately!!!! I really appreciate all the pump ups. I agree that no internet is both constraining and liberating. It keeps me disciplined as I have a limited time on line each day!!!! :) Although can't wait til I'm back to fulfill my on line addiction. We are still in temporary state with the folks and going through a million hoops!!!!

I can imagine the level of discipline that it takes to be in that situation. I wonder how long you could keep that up!

How long can I last?????? We will find out. We are well into week 2 at mom and pops with no internet.  I LOVE STARBUCKS!!!! I've certainly given up worrying about my Alexa ranking, doing only the bare minimum!!! We hope to be on the road next week!

excuses for rated R content. When last time I was out of internet due to power outage for couple of hours in the evening, I had a great memorable act with my wife in moon light. Laugh

Hi guys! Well just got an email from the loan processor, "I guess you know your loan was approved." We didn't! We are looking to settle our loan here before we start our journey.

Then we can line up workers to paint, clean, and make the repairs before we move in. With a short sale, any repairs are on us!! It looks like we might actually be in our home by the end of the 1st week in August!

Thanks to all for the visits and posts, hopefully by mid august, we'll be somewhat settled.

I'm kind of getting used to living with the folks and getting a bit of internet at the library, starbuucks, barnes & noble etc.!!!!! Wow, did I really say that?

Hi Guys, It's me again from the land with no internet :) after a ton of delays, we are leaving for the other side of the country on Wed. With a bit of luck, we'll be in our new home mid august (just 6 weeks later than expected :) ) After rescheduling the mover for the 5th time, I hope this is the final one!

Anyhow, you all have been awesome, but I want to give a shout out to a tool which has saved the day for me during this summer.

http://www.wealthinformatics.c…..m/yakezie/

suba's tool allows you to search for related links in a flash. It's help me stay in some kind of linking relationship with you all during my few internet moments per day!!

I also want to thank again anyone who has been linking to me! It means especially a lot right now.
