You're right…quite a change. I really, really like your new banner/logo. The colors definitely pop and the logo is very sharp. Nice job!

Banner without the tiles would looked better, IMO. Loved your icon though. Did you test your site on a small screen computer?

I disagree but that's only because I designed the logo.

Jai, bias is not a problem.
SB: I did notice that the issue with smaller screens. There seems to be another bug as well – will let John know (he designed and coded everything around Jai's beautiful logo).

In all seriousness, it looks nice. The only thing I might consider changing is your About section. It's nice getting to know the author but I struck out 3 times looking for it. I clicked Money Principle and My Money, My Life before I found it under Manifesto.

Quite right! Strangely enough, this look is very much 'me' (which is rather interesting given that Jai 'knows' me only virtually; on the other hand, John does know me well). Probably should carry a general warning  ?
The navigation and re-writing the important sections is the next thing I am tackling. But as I say, getting to where we are with doggy looking site and really patience-testing navigation is like winning a beauty contest without make up (and no surgery). Imagine what would happen when there is a bit of make up applied?
Natural beauty get one so far…Now I need to become a 'make up' artist and here I'll need loads of feedback. This is why I am so grateful and humbled by your response. Keep it coming!
