I'd love to read a copy! Also, I'm curious to hear about your experiences approaching publishers. Has that been easy/super difficult?

Congrats! I'd love to read it too. I'd be willing to host a giveaway on my blog to help spread the word. How was the process of getting it published?

I've actually decided on the self-published route.  I had talked to a book agent about a year or so ago, and while I don't think it's impossible to get it published, the idea of having to wait an extended period (even more than I already have since it's taken so long to get it done!); self-published seems to make to make the most sense (for me, at least).

Also; I have BIG aspirations of creating a Soldier of Finance membership course that compliments the book (hoping to begin that next month) that literally walks people through the process.   Since the whole process will be one beta test after another, I'm more excited about having control throughout.

But don't get me wrong……If Penguin called tomorrow and told me they wanted to publish my book, I'm fairly certain I wouldn't say no.  Wink

Love to read your book – I go through books like crazy.  Are you selling through Amazon? If so, I'll make sure to post my review there as well – apparently that helps Wink

Doing work for a bunch of returning veterans right now – learning a lot – thanks for your contribution!!

Going the self-published route is probably a smart decision.  It has worked pretty well for Mike Piper and there are a lot of other writers out there who are making more money publishing their own book then they would with traditional publishing. Look forward to reading your book.
